In this episode we meet with the coordinator of Presbyterian Hunger Program Rev. Rebecca Barnes. We talk about hunger and the importance of addressing not only the immediate needs in our community but also the larger systemic issues that cause hunger in our communities. The Rev. Rebecca Barnes has been the coordinator of the Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP) since 2017. Previously, she served for five years as the associate for Environmental Ministries within PHP. She is a graduate of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and the author of 50 Ways to Help Save the Earth: How You and Your Church Can Make a Difference. She also previously served as a young adult intern for various offices within the PC(USA).
